RIYADH — MEWA, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, represented by the Agriculture Agency; has inaugurated the first Murciano goats exporting farm from Saudi Arabia.
It is the first license obtained by livestock breeders to export this distinctive quality of goats in Saudi Arabia; in the presence of the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Agriculture Eng. Ahmed Bin Saleh Al-Ayada, at the ministry’s headquarters here.

Al-Arabi Al-Ameem, The Director-General of the General Animal Production Department at the ministry; explained that the Murciano or Murcia-Granada goat breed produces 800 to 1000 liters of milk annually; with a lactation period of around 210 days.
