Saudi Railways Opens Online Ticket Booking to Al-Qurayyat Saudiscoop
The ticket booking starts from Monday, March 21, while the first passenger service to Al-Qurayyat starts on March 31.

First passenger train to run on March 31

Riyadh: As part of its final preparations to operate the passenger train station in Al-Qurayyat, Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR) makes the ticket available for train services via the North Train to and from Al-Qurayyat passenger station.

The ticket booking starts from Monday, March 21, while the first passenger service to starts on March 31. The long-distance journey between Riyadh and Al-Qurayyat covers 1,215 km.

SAR said the step comes in conjunction with the inauguration of the Al-Qurayyat passenger train station on March 30.

Prince Faisal bin Nawaf will perform the inauguration ceremony. The Emir of Al-Jouf Region will be accompanied by Eng. Saleh Al-Jasserthe Minister of Transport and Logistics. Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser is also the Chairman of the SAR’s Board.

Al-Qurayyat passenger train station is the fourth and final phase of the SAR’s plan to operate the Northbound passenger train. SAR gives top priority to Al-Qurayyat station owing to its pivotal role and contribution in speeding the regional and international linking plans and providing logistical support that will have a positive impact on the entire transport system in the Kingdom.
