Riyadh- Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), paid an official visit to the United Kingdom. During this visit, he met countless CEOs of British companies, businessmen, and private sector representatives.
Discussions went over the barriers investors may face in the drug, food, and medical products sectors.

Along with the initiatives provided by the SFDA to encourage methods for investors to counteract hindrance in the work facilities. All of the previous are in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
SFDA emphasized attracting investments in the pharmaceutical sector by enhancing intellectual property protection for innovative products.
Also, increasing transparency in registration procedures and confidence in intellectual property protection procedures.
Working to improve the number of innovative international companies that manufacture their products in factories established by companies in Saudi Arabia.
SFDA’s CEO met with the UK Minister for International Trade Ranil Jayawardena within the same context.
The two sides stressed that they would exert every effort to enhance cooperation in food and drugs based on the deep-rooted relations between the two countries. — SPA
