Riyadh, New COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia drop well below the 1,000-mark on Wednesday, with 627 new infections recorded over a 24hr period.

RIYADH — New COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia drop well below the 1,000-mark on Wednesday, with 627 new infections recorded over a 24 hour period.

According to the Ministry of Health, three people died due to complications caused by the virus over the 24 hours; bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 741,864 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,990.

According to the ministry, a total of 1,880 people recovered during this time; raising the total number of people surviving the deadly virus to 717,394. Among the Covid 19 active cases, 744 of them were in critical condition.
