Riyadh — SFDA, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, has approved the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine for children aged 6-11 years.
This new legislation, passed on April 6, will increase vaccination coverage. The new vaccination program is expected to yield higher protection among wider age groups against the COVID-19 pandemic.
This approval comes as the Kingdom significantly recovers from the pandemic’s global economic effects.
