Makkah — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced it will begin Umrah bookings from July 19. A week after the Hajj season ends this year.
The ministry announcement states that people wishing to perform Umrah would be able to book an appointment starting from Tuesday, Dhul Hijjah 20.
The ministry has decided to limit the Umrah pilgrims to only the Hajj pilgrims at present. This decision will facilitate the safety and rituals of the present pilgrims and control overcrowding.
