Riyadh — The Tawakkalna app visitors to the Kingdom on visit visas should contact the Health Insurance Council if “insured visitor” status doesn’t appear on the Tawakkalna app.
The clarification comes amid complaints that some medically ensured visitors didn’t have the “insured visitor” status on the Tawakkalna application. Such visitors can contact the council via the phone number 92001177 to check their insurance status.

The latest regulations make it mandatory for all arrivals in the Kingdom on various visit visas to have medical insurance. Insurance should specifically cover their medical treatment for any infection with coronavirus.

The Tawakkalna application stated that the “insured visitor” health status if visitors have active and valid medical insurance. The beneficiary will be an “uninsured visitor” if he comes to the Kingdom without having active and valid medical insurance.
