The resort’s on-site restaurant is sliding into its first Ramadan with a rich set menu of Saudi and Middle Eastern cuisine, bringing the extraordinary flavors of Saudi Arabia to life.
Tama is a lot more than a restaurant acting as a congregation place. Meaning ‘here and now’ in Aramaic.
Tama represents one of Habitas’ core brand experiences, the sense of being present in an ideal synergy. Of levitating people in the spirit of the holy month to mark a time for family and togetherness.
A Season of Fresh Flavors On The Table
Step into the resort’s on-site eatery and enjoy the space’s archaic interiors. Those who like an outdoor experience and an atmosphere of scenic sandstone mountains can step onto the terrace and regale under AlUla night skies.
Tama carries its diners on a memorable culinary journey through ingredients sourced from local farms in AlUla.
For the specially prepared iftar set menu, guests break their fast with a choice of mezze dishes, from Ejjet al Fallah to hot appetizers.
Iftar also includes coconut shrimp; before moving to the must-try main course, fish Harra with tahini, Arabic spices, and nuts.
Mouhalabieh, and the delectable Umm Ali, a Middle Eastern bread pudding for dessert. Mouhalabieh is a delicate milk flan flavored with orange flowers; and an array of homemade sweets that completes the offering.
Farm-to-table suhoor menus feature a selection of seasonal fruits, fresh juices, warm baked bread, traditional Arabic cheeses, and eggs.
Launched in November 2021, Habitas AlUla embodies the brand’s six pillars: music, wellness, adventure; culture, learning, and culinary, all developed to immerse guests within the region’s authentic culture and natural environment.
This love for culture is illustrated through programs that accommodate art and culture walks; canyon trekking, yoga, meditation, and breathwork.
