RIYADH — The General Directorate of Passports has completed all technical preparations required to receive and provide immigration services to Foreign Umrah pilgrims arriving from abroad.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Passports of Saudia, at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, was ready and prepared to receive the first Foreign Umrah pilgrims from abroad Saturday.
And ready to process their entrance into the Kingdom with ease and precautionary and preventive measures.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah affairs announced that the Kingdom plans to increase the number of daily pilgrims to 120,000 from 60,000 at present.
These Umra numbers will be increased in coordination with the competent sides.”
Al Wazan expected that the number of pilgrims would be very high this year.
The Umrah permits Al Wazan added will also cover praying at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
Visit to the Prophet Mohammed Mosque in Madinah, and lastly praying in Al Rawda Al Sharifa.
Al Wazan elaborated, “The Saudi companies offering services to the Umrah pilgrims are ready and prepared to provide services of the highest quality.”
Saudi Arabia had started receiving Umrah pilgrimage applications from abroad for pilgrims who have been vaccinated for Covid-19 as of Aug. 9.
