Riyadh — Riyadh Season 2022 was introduced on Friday by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority’s (GEA) board of directors.
A breathtaking drone performance marked the start of the biggest entertainment season in the Arab and Middle Eastern regions.
An international Cirque du Soleil performance, and a concert by artist Anne Marie, all under the theme “Above Imagination.”

Thousands of people attended the opening ceremony. The season will offer over 8,500 activity days and experiences at 15 locations—each with a unique entertainment element.
Along with events and performances festivities in several areas of Riyadh, Season 2022, the Saudi capital, the activities will feature 108 interactive experiences.
