JEDDAH — A new era of cruise tourism has dawned with the arrival of the mammoth cruise ship MSC Bellissima at the Jeddah Islamic Port. The largest cruise ship ever to travel the waters of the Red Sea.

MSC Cruises has announced that the MSC Bellissima would undertake 21 Red Sea voyages from Jeddah to Safaga for Luxor, Egypt, or Aqaba for Petra from the end of July to August. These voyages will be three, and four-night cruises.

The MSC Bellissima was delivered in 2019 with a wide range of environmental features and technology to reduce its environmental footprint and provide family entertainment during the trip.

The ship has a 975-seat mainstage theater and an aft Carousel Lounge. It also has a Grand Canyon theme aquapark with three water slides, a full-size bowling alley, an F1 simulator, and an XD cinema. Additionally, it also has a 700-sq.-meter Kids Club for children.

The MSC Bellissima also stars a Mediterranean-style promenade with an 80-meter LED sky screen and a shopping gallery. In addition, an authentic Balinese Spa is offering 79 different body and facial treatments along.

The Cruise program coincides with the Saudi Summer Program 2021 with the theme of “Our Summer, Your Vibes.”

This Saudi Tourism program kicked off on June 24 and will continue until the end of September. These cruise voyages will be a significant highlight of the summer program.
