Maraya AlUla is hosting the American multi-Grammy-award-winning singer Alicia Keys for promoting her new album KEYS on February 11.

AlUla — Maraya AlUla is hosting the American multi-Grammy-award-winning singer Alicia Keys for promoting her new album KEYS on February 11.

Keys performance will take place among the ancient ruins of AlUla under a glistening night sky. 

The “One Night Onlyconcert will be Keys first perform at AlUla, although she is no stranger to the city after her visit last year.

Captivated by the ancient civilizations of the desert, she said, “There is no denying the enchantment and beauty of AlUla, ann being an explorer I love discovering ancient places and what time has left behind.”

“I met women business owners with a powerful sense of creating meaningful experiences. I visited the old towns women’s art school and got to see firsthand the continuance of the timeless artisan customs here.

“I have enjoyed doing these “One Night Only” shows around the world in once-in-a-lifetime locations,” said Keys.

The concert broadcast partners are MBC and YouTube (AlUla Moments), and the concert tickets go on sale on February 01, 2022. On February 12, Keys will also host a Town Hall event, “Women to Women,” on February 12, an exclusive dialogue with the first female Saudi Ambassador to the US, Princess Reema Bint Bandar.

“Women to Women” will interact with other female entrepreneurs, artists, business owners, and an array of women from AlUla and beyond, discussing power, purpose, and progression.

The sideline event dialogue will host an open and honest forum for women to share their world vision and aspirations.

As a singer, Keys has sold over 90 million records and is one of the world’s most loved and best-selling music icons performing internationally.

Keys, a trained pianist, started composing songs aged 12 and secured her record deal at 15 years old.

Her debut album of 2001, “Songs in ‘A’ Minor,” was a critical and commercial success, where her first number-one single “Fallin'” sold over 12 million copies globally.

Keys performance is a part of AlUla Moments season which runs through February, with another two rising international popstar Naika and regional sensation Rahma Riyadh.
