Cairo — Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, the Saudi Foreign Minister, chaired the Arab Ministerial Quartet Committee meeting overlooking the crisis with Iran and ways to address its interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries on Thursday.
The ministerial-level meeting was held along the 156th session of the Council of the Arab League at the League headquarters.
The meeting discussed increasing joint coordination to stop Iranian underground interference in the region and end Iran’s financing of the Houthi terrorist militia in Yemen and extremist terrorist groups endangering international peace and security.
The meeting discussed the most notable developments towards the Iranian nuclear program and the importance of a mechanism for a rapid and comprehensive inspection of Iran’s nuclear sites and to stop Iran’s policy of violating international laws and norms that destabilize the security and stability of the region and the world.
Prince Faisal participated in the Arab Ministerial Committee meeting concerned with efforts to stop the Israeli actions in the occupied city of Jerusalem. The meeting condemned and denounced the Israeli attacks and measures against Palestine.
The meeting of the Arab Committee called on the international community to stand firm in the face of violations by the Israeli occupation forces of international norms and laws.
The meeting of the Arab Committee discussed measures to intensify the efforts by the international, Islamic, and Arab organizations to end the Israeli aggression and to support the brotherly Palestinian people.
