Riyadh- Latest COVID-19 figures have remained below the 100-mark for the second straight week on Friday. Fifty-one new infections show a continued slide from the 500-mark five weeks ago.

The Ministry of Health announced four more people died due to complications caused by the virus over the past 24 hours.

These latest death figures bring the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 546,843 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,688.

Simultaneously the Riyadh-based KSrelief has organized a training course on treatment procedures for the novel coronavirus in Aden Governorate of Yemen.

The training was administered in coordination with the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population’s therapeutic medicine department. Forty doctors and nurses from the isolation centers of Al-Sadaqa Hospital and Al-Amal Center in Aden participated in this training designed especially for the Covid-19 Virus treatment.

During the four-day course that concluded on Thursday, participants were equipped with cognitive skills related to the treatment course for COVID-19 covering moderate and severe cases and the use of artificial respiration for inpatient cases.

The program is a continuation of KSrelief’s efforts to limit the spread of the COVID-19 in Yemen.
