Riyadh – Middle East’s largest ever entertainment event Riyadh Season 2, kicked off with pomp and style featuring parades, dazzling shows by drones, and a spectacular display of fireworks lit up the Riyadh skies.
The chairman of the Board of Directors GEA, Turki Al-Sheikh, announced the grand opening of Riyadh Season 2021 in front of 750,000 people, with millions following it through live broadcasts.

The dazzling display of over 2760 drones displayed images of King Salman and the Crown Prince and welcomed the participants in several international languages. The logos of various regions and activities of the Riyadh Season 2021.
The ceremony also featured live performances, Samaritan dance performances, chariot shows, and a show of the Flying Man.
The first day’s activities concluded with the concert of the renowned international rapper Pitbull. Attended by a huge local and international audience.
There are 88 food trucks at the parade ground. Showcasing a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes from around the world, healthcare services, and mobile medical clinics.
The grand opening ceremony witnessed the mammoth presence of visitors of all nationalities. Who came to see the events after confirming their tickets and health status on the Tawakkalna application.
The Riyadh Season 2 will see 7,500 extraordinary events and fun-filled activities across 14 entertainment zones. Spreading over a total of 5.4 million square meters during the festival that will run through until March 2022.
