The sighing is expected on the evening of Wednesday, Dhu-Al Qadah 30, 1443 AH, corresponding to June 29, 2022.

In a statement issued Monday, the Supreme Court called on whoever sights the crescent with naked eyes; or through telescopes to report to the nearest court to register their testimony.
They can alternatively report the sighting to the nearest center to help reach the closest court. The court hopes all able-sighted persons will join the effort by the committees formed for this purpose.
