WWE, Desert Polo, and The Saudi Cup Return
This February, set to be a big month for sports fans in Saudi Arabia, the National Golf Week returns with seven days of competitions across the Kingdom.
Then later this month, WWE returns with the Elimination Chamber to Jeddah, the Richard Mille Desert Polo in AlUla, and the world’s most valuable horse race takes place as February concludes.
Here are the eight major events in Saudi Arabia this February.
Until February 6: National Golf Week
Golf Saudi hosts its first National Golf Week throughout the Kingdom from January 30 to February 6. The program includes schools championship for up-and-coming junior golfers, golf art, free lessons as golf clubs welcome new and existing golfers.
The week-long schedule combines the 2022 Saudi International February 3 to 6 at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), near Jeddah.

February: The New, Authentic Spanish Restaurant
Azure brings Spain to Hyatt Regency Riyadh, serving the best Spanish recipe seafood. The traditional menu is heart-warming and inspired by Southern Spanish cuisine and tradition.

February 11 and 12: Attend a Dessert Polo Tournament
The world-class desert polo tournament returns to AlUla this winter. The Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo returns on Friday and is the only modern polo tournament played in a desert.
The event has four teams competing in a purpose-built arena close to Saudi Arabia’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra. The teams comprised professional players and invited patrons from the international polo community.

Saturday Brunch in February: Enjoy a Greek journey
Brunch and music, then the only place to head out to on Saturdays is Meraki. It has launched an exclusive weekend dining concept, the Garden Brunch. The 1 pm to 4 pm Saturday Garden Brunch offers live entertainment and Meraki’s mouth-watering dishes in a chic and vibrant atmosphere.

February 19: E Extreme
Extreme E’s pioneering electric SUV off-road racing series kicks off at Neom on February 19. The inaugural E SUV season began in AlUla in April last year. The second series will start in NEOM before heading to Italy, Chile, and Uruguay.
The Extreme E championship is an off-road event that highlights climate change issues such as global warming, extreme weather, melting ice caps, rising sea levels, and wildfires, promoting the sustainability of electric vehicles to help protect the planet.

February 19: WWE returns to Jeddah
WWE returns with the Elimination Chamber to Jeddah on Saturday, February 19, the annual Elimination Chamber event held at the Jeddah Superdome, recognized as the world’s largest pillarless Superdome.
The event is the seventh pay-per-view WWE show held in Saudi Arabia since it began hosting events in 2018.

February 25 and 26, The Saudi Cup Horse Race
Now recognized as the most valuable horse race internationally, the Saudi Cup third edition is a two-day event from February 25 to 26. The first Saudi Cup 2020 featured 22 Group or Grade 1 winners.
A similar turnout is expected at the 2022 edition. The event takes place at Riyadh King Abdulaziz Racetrack.

Ending on February 28, The Greek Food Extravaganza in the Desert
It’s the final month of Oasis Riyadh, where you find top international restaurants showcasing their culinary delights. A hot favorite Dubai’s beloved Greek OPA features charming white interiors, traditional music of the islands, plus Zorba dancing and Greek plate smashing.
