The President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi, inspected the emergency centers in the Holy Capital and the Holy Mosque of Mecca, accompanied by the Director-General of the Authority’s branch in the region, Dr. Mustafa bin Jamil Beljoun, and several senior technical and administrative leaders in the Authority.
Dr. Al-Owaisi began the inspection visit at the Kudai ambulance center, where he was briefed on the equipment and mechanisms that were prepared for the ambulance service for the blessed month of Ramadan.
He also went to the Holy Mosque in Mecca and inspected the readiness of emergency crews and volunteers to find out the emergency and volunteer teams’ preparedness and see the mechanisms, workflow, and services provided to worshipers and pilgrims.
Dr. Al-Owaisi also visited several centers in the Holy Capital and the centers surrounding the Grand Mosque in Mecca,
He stressed during his tours the importance of collective efforts to serve the worshipers and pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan and cooperation with all related parties to assure comfort and reassurance for visitors.
