Houthi Fired ‘Hostile Air Target’ Intercepted and Destroyed in Western Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted and destroyed on Wednesday morning; “a hostile air target” fired toward the Kingdom’s Western Region; said the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense.

Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Malki said the Ministry of Defense adopts and executes all measures required for the safety, security, and integrity of the Kingdom; and its national capabilities and the protection of civilians and civilian installations.

The spokesperson declared at the briefing that “The Ministry of Defense will undertake decisive; and deterrent measures to stop these hostile cross-border acts.”

On Tuesday, the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said it had bombed military targets at Yemen’s capital Sanaa; after the Iran-aligned Houthi’s launched ballistic missiles and armed drones attack at Saudi Arabia.

The coalition conducted “precision strikes on legitimate military targets in Sanaa.” During the last 24 hours, the coalition had also attacked Houthi targets in Marib and Jouf, said a statement from the coalition.
