The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided 80 million tons of liquid oxygen to India to confront the severe outbreak of the Coronavirus in the country.
Yesterday, Saturday, Corona cases in India rose to 346,786 overnight, setting a new world record for the third consecutive day. Overcrowded hospitals have requested oxygen supplies, and India has so far recorded more than 16 million confirmed cases and 189,544 deaths, which is second only to the United States.
The Indian embassy thanked the Kingdom, which took the initiative to provide medical aid in light of India’s current critical health situations.

Several hospitals in New Delhi, the second-largest Indian city after Mumbai, had issued distress calls for emergency supplies of oxygen needed for intensive care rooms to save Coronavirus patients.
