Riyadh — The Ministry of Education announced Tuesday that the children of foreigners residing in Saudi Arabia illegally would be allowed to enroll in schools during the new academic year.
The ministry stated that schools should provide children of illegal residents with admission forms.
And direct them to contact the emirates offices of their region of residence to complete the necessary procedures.
After approval by the emirate, the parent will submit the admission forms to the concerned school authorities to complete the enrollment process.
The Saudi ministry has directed the school education departments all over the Kingdom to provide the General Administration of Evaluation and Admission with a monthly statistical report about the number of students enroll in each educational district.

The terms and conditions stipulated in the Saudi school enrollment form for those without proper documents or illegal residents require,

- permanent residence address
- contact data
The guardians who do not have proper documents should also submit an undertaking that he would correct their residency status during the academic year itself.
