In an official statement, Kuwait, July 25, 2021, SPA — The State of Kuwait has declared its strong condemnation and criticized the continuing terrorist Houthi militia threat to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the Kuwaiti statement denounced the targeting of civilians and civilian areas and the region’s stability by launching several drones that targeted the southern regions of the Kingdom.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry, in its statement today, said that such aggressive practices and disregarding the efforts of the international community to bring to an end the conflict in Yemen and the continued targeting of civilians constitute a flagrant violation of the rules of international and humanitarian law, which demands the international community to move quickly and decisively to hold the perpetrators accountable.
In view of the tremendous brotherly relations between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry has also emphasized Kuwait’s complete solidarity and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all actions it takes to maintain its stability, security, and sovereignty.
