Madinah Mayoralty Orders Re-Asphalting Of A Road At The Contractor’s Expense

Madinah — The Mayoralty of Madinah has ordered a contractor to re-implement the asphalting works on the airport road at his expense after detecting defects in the asphalting works.

All contractors must carry out the re-asphalting works following the technical conditions and specifications.

During their follow-up and field monitoring, inspectors found defects in the implementation work. Hence, the contractor has to remove the asphalt’s surface layer and re-implement the asphalting per the approved technical specifications, the mayoralty said.

The procedure falls under assessing quality standards and technical specifications in all implemented projects.
