Makkah— Soon, the non-Umrah performers too will be allowed to perform “Tawaf,” the circumambulation around the Holy Kaaba.
The change follows the recent directive of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman; to open the Grand Mosque to its total capacity for pilgrims and worshipers.
The Eatmarna and Tawakkalna applications will have options to book appointments to kiss Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, the Black Stone; touching the Yemeni Corner (Al-Rukn Al-Yamaani) performing prayer at Hijr Ismail.
The first floor of the Grand Mosque is to be reserved for tawaf by non-Umrah pilgrims will be available outside the regular prayer timings; from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and then again from 12:00 in the afternoon to 3:00 p.m.

The availability of this new facility coincides with the short vacations beginning at the end of the first semester of education.
Speedy preparations are underway to prepare the first floor of the Grand Mosque to receive the large numbers of worshipers.
All worshipers and Umrah pilgrims must wear masks within the Grand Mosque and its courtyards at all times.
