Riyadh: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirms worshipers do not need a permit to perform the Eid prayer in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
The ministry indicated that entering the Grand Mosque does not require a permit. However, it is necessary to have an Umrah permit through the Eatmarna application.

The Saudi Supreme Court has called on all Muslims around Saudi Arabia to sight the Shawwal crescent on Saturday night. It corresponds to April 30, 2022, AD on 29 Ramadan 1443 AH – according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar.
Eid Al-Fitr prayer for the year 1443-2022 will be 15 minutes after sunrise, according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar.
