Riyadh – Announcing the winter season, the entire Kingdom is expected to receive rain from Friday and continue until Monday. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced has the forecast.
In a video clip, aired by the Al-Ekhbariya channel; the center stated that the wet weather system is still prevalent in the Makkah and Madinah regions. The coastal areas after last Saturday and Sunday heavy rains that were accompanied by thunderstorms in Jeddah and some other cities.

This rainy weather is expected to spread further to the other regions; covering most of the Kingdom in the wet spell. Thus, the seasonal rains will prevail; especially in the northern and eastern regions of the Kingdom, along with Riyadh and Qassim regions.
The NCM forecasts show’s that most mountainous highlands will most likely experience between light to heavy rain during the next few days; with a probable end on Monday.
The center pointed out that there has been a drop in temperature in some regions of the Kingdom over the last few days; and the mercury will see a further fall in temperature in most regions following the rain and inclement weather.
