300,000 people receive their “power of attorney” electronically

Riyadh — In response to the Ministry of Justice authorizing the issuing of “power of attorney” through its portal Najiz.sa five months ago. More than 300,000 people have submitted their “power of attorney” electronically.

The availability of the e-service has come about as a part of the Ministry’s efforts. To convert all documentation services to electronic service instead of the previous manual service. This e-service will make the process easier and also more efficient.

The Ministry of Justice said, “The electronic service is part of the Ministry’s efforts to digitize the services of Notarizing, and enabling them remotely to fast-track procedures and enhance efficiency.

To gain benefit from the Ministry’s Najiz.sa portal. The Ministry of Justice has required that the client to have previously issued an agency via notary before making it available electronically.

Electronic issuance services are not available for minors or those who are considered legally incompetent due to mental conditions.

The services are also unavailable for senior citizens. That is, a person over the age of 65 years and those beneficiaries that have never released an agency before.

For these clients, the Ministry provides notarization by mobile notary’s service.
