Riyadh Season to have 2,500 events; Free entry to Four Zones
Riyadh Season 2 will cover an area spreading over 5.4 million square meters, divided into 14 zones.

Riyadh — On Monday, Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman GEA, announced that the second edition of the Riyadh Season, beginning on Oct. 20, and would have 2,500 wide variety of activities and events.

Addressing the press conference, the Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media Majed Al-Qasabi Al-Sheikh, said young Saudi men and women comprise a significant segment of the 16,000 staffers hired to make the festival a resounding success.

Riyadh Season 2 will cover an area spreading over 5.4 million square meters, divided into 14 zones. The entry to four zones will be free of charge, while the fee will differ for each of the remaining zones. The event expects to draw as many as 20 million visitors.

The event coincides with Saudi Seasons and includes:

  • Arab and international concerts.
  • Ten international exhibitions.
  • Theatrical performances.
  • Arab and international plays.

Additionally, a wrestling championship with free entry, interactive experiences for various audience tastes catering to all age groups.

There will also be 200 restaurants and 70 cafés available during the season. 

The Riyadh Season will re-image the capital Riyadh into one of the most preferred destinations for visitors and tourists in the region and the world.
