Aden, July 17, 2021, Minister of Information, Tourism and Culture, Yemen, Mua’mar Al-Eryani, appreciated the energy support given to it by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and aimed at operating 80 electricity generation plants.
In his statement, Al-Eryani said that the Saudi fuel grant has contributed to a decrease in prolonged power outages, helping control government expenses and providing basic services designed to raise the standard of living.
Al-Eryani explained that the oil grant also raised the rate of energy produced in all governorates and resulted in the stability of fuel supply during last May and June.
The Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism praised Saudi Arabia’s supportive position for Yemen in various stages and circumstances, especially during this current difficult stage.
In a piece of related news reported on July 18, 2021, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Muslim World League, carried out open-heart surgeries and catheterization in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
This is an ongoing effort of KSrelief, where this year, the volunteer medical team conducted 50 heart catheterizations successfully.
The Mauritania effort is a part of the more extensive global and regional humanitarian efforts of KSrelief.
