Attending the YaHala program on the Rotana Khaleejia television, Al-Qahtani noted that the winter season, which continued for more than 50 days, will end astronomically on March 20.
He said that the cold wave currently experienced in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia comes mainly from the northern countries such as Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey in cold air masses and snowfall.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s weather cannot be compared to what those countries are witnessing now in terms of a noticeable drop in temperatures and strong, sweeping cold waves,” he added.
