Saudi Red Crescent Arranges Family Video Calls For Saudi Guantanamo Detainees

Riyadh — SRCA, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, reported it had arranged for Saudi detainees at the Guantanamo prison to speak to their families via video calls in August.

The SRCA said that its initiative to enable the detainees to contact their families was a humanitarian step to help restore family links.

It confirmed that the Saudi detainees contacted their families via video calls from all regions of Saudi Arabia.
