Saudia to allow domestic travel for the fully vaccinated only from Sept. 1

Saudia urged the passengers to take all the precautionary measures, preventive protocols, and new directives concerning vaccination against Coronavirus.

On Wednesday, Jeddah — Saudi Arabian Airlines announced that, effective from Sept. 1, the national carrier would permit only those passengers who have received both of their doses of coronavirus vaccine to travel onboard its domestic flights.

This step is to ensure the protection of all travelers, airport, and airline staff and to ensure the spread of the Coronavirus is kept restricted.

However, there will be exemptions given for certain groups who are not obligated to take the vaccine. An example of such a group is children under the age of 12 years that are currently not required to be vaccinated or persons exempted from receiving the vaccine essentially on health grounds by the concerned health authorities of the Kingdom.

Saudia urged the passengers to take all the precautionary measures, preventive protocols, and new directives concerning vaccination against Coronavirus.

These preventive measures, protocols, and directives concerning the Coronavirus vaccination are for the national control against the spread of the virus that has gripped the entire world. Therefore, it is sought that these efforts will bear fruit and restrict its spread.
