Saudi Human Resources Development Fund's (Hadaf) programs and initiatives gave employment to over 200,000 young people by the private sector.

Riyadh: The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has revealed that the Saudization ratio in the private sector for the third quarter of 2021 rose to 23.59%; up by 0.96% compared to the previous quarter, reported on Thursday.

During the same period, the number of Saudi workers went up to around 60,000 employees, added the report.

According to the he General Organization for Social Insurance data; the observers pointed out that the number of Saudis employed in the private sector during the third quarter of 2021 was 1,826,875 workers, an increase of 3.41%. This increase comprised 65.06% males and 34.94% females, the report said.

The fund’s work strategy is to develop new and qualitative programs that accord with the needs of the labor market. According to the report, the strategy is based on by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for localizing several job categories and economic activities.

Moreover, Hadaf’s package of initiatives and programs is to train, employ; and empower female and male citizens and support businesses in all activities, sectors, and professions.
