Riyadh: The Council of Senior Scholars hailed the statements of Crown Prince HRH Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. During his interview with the US-based The Atlantic magazine.
He reiterated that the Kingdom bases itself on Islam. And in its teachings that go back to the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed, Peace Be Upon Him, and his Rightly-Guided Caliphs.

The Senior Scholars Council said: His Highness’s statements clarify the firm approach of the Kingdom; in following the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah without sectarian fanaticism or extremism.
Its robust approach in combating and uprooting extremism and terrorism and tracking down its symbols. Be it from al-Qaeda, Daesh (ISIS), the Brotherhood, or other terrorist and extremist groups.
The Council commended the Crown Prince’s emphasis; that the state is on track toward development according to its cultural and economic concepts.
Its people its history within the framework of Vision 2030. And His Highness’s firm rejection of any external interference in the Kingdom’s internal affairs, as this matter, concerns Saudis only.
