The prayers will be held throughout the Kingdom on Monday.
On Friday, RIYADH — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, called on all people to hold prayer seeking rain throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, Dec. 13.
The Royal statement has been issued following the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) Sunnah to perform the rain-seeking prayers.

The statement included a plea for everyone to repent and seek forgiveness and return to God Almighty, and to increase their acts of obedience in such as:
- Giving Sadaqa (alms).
- Helping people.
- Praying.
- Remembrance of God.
- Insisting in the prayers “Duas” under the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) sunnah.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, has set the prayer time; at 15 minutes past the sunrise in all regions of the Kingdom, with a commitment to applying preventive measures.
