Riyadh — TDF, the Tourism Development Fund of Sudia, signed two financing agreements with Dallah Real Estate Company and Dallah Al-Baraka Group to develop a tourism project at the Durrat Al-Arous resort in Jeddah.
Under the agreement, TDF will fund the ‘Durrat Lagoon’ destination, operated by Hotel Indigo, a part of the IHG Hotels and Resorts group.
TDF also signed an agreement with 17Sixty to provide a variety of unique recreational and adventure activities at Durrat Al-Arous resort for tourists to explore the shores and depths of the Red Sea.
TDF continues to enable the development and establishment of tourist destinations in various areas of the Saudi tourism sector through the agreements, enriching the visitor experience and enhancing the value and impact of strategic projects in tourism.
Saudi Arabia’s National Tourism Strategy aims to develop ten main destinations in various areas of the tourism sector. These destinations are characterized by broad diversity, history, and culture.
TDF works to consolidate the tourism sector’s efforts and its partners, including lenders, operators, and service providers, enhance the investment experience and facilitate private sector access to opportunities in various tourist regions of the Kingdom.
