The Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) decided to limit the participation of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Professionals Cup League teams in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the season 2021-2020 second consecutive season.
The decision of the Saudi Federation comes due to the pressure of the match calendar in the new season; the new Arab Cup that will be held in December, under the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA), in addition to the participation of Saudi clubs in AFC Champions League.

The decision was based on what was submitted by the Technical Director of the Saudi Federation, Iwan Lubisco, in coordination with the Competitions Committee, to increase the number of matches for the youth and junior categories in the excellent class, to achieve the most significant benefit at the technical and fitness level – source: SAFF official news
