Several scientists have discovered a magical method that can reduce the air conditioner electricity bill in the hot summer months by up to more than 80%.
A study published by “Popular Science” revealed that the temperature of dark ceilings or sidewalks in the streets rises significantly on hot summer days.
The study revealed a new type of white paint, which can provide a quality of supercooling, unlike other types of white paint in the market.

Xiulin Ruan, professor of mechanical engineering at Purdue University, said that his research team could create this new paint by mixing many simple chemical compounds.
Ruan explained that the new formula works to reflect light and cool surfaces below the surrounding air temperature. The new white paint is easy to manufacture, and anyone can prepare it at home.

The study pointed out that the new white paint is the reverse cousin of another famous paint called Fanta Black, consisting of a very dark substance that can absorb more than 99.9% of visible light and sunlight.
