That way, it guarantees your 90-day stay on each visit. Furthermore, you can also get a visa valid for 90 days, where your 30-day stay is assured and confirmed.

Requirements for Saudi Umrah Visa 

To apply for the Saudi Umrah Visa, here are a few things that you need to keep in mind – 

Application 

You can apply for the Umrah Visa through your travel agent, who is authorized by the Saudi Government for Hajj and Umrah. That way, you can fill out the form easily, and get easy access to complete the form and submit it to the authorities. 

Passport 

Any Canadian citizen applying for Umrah needs a valid passport. The passport should be more than six months old from the fixed date of travel. Otherwise, the Saudi authorities will reject the application.

Personal Photo 

While filling out the form, you also need to provide a personal photo of yourself. The photo should be of recent times and clicked before a white background. Furthermore, the height and breadth of the image should be no more than 2*2 inches with natural expression. 

Here are some requirements:

  • The photo should have 80% of your face 
  • You shouldn’t wear any eyeglasses, 
  • Also, avoid wearing headgear unless it is for religious occasions

Vaccination Certificate 

You also need to provide a health certification of vaccination against Meningococcal Meningitis with the application form. The vaccination should be taken ten days before the trip to Saudi Arabia. Also, with different nationalities involved, they must provide certification for yellow fever, polio, and influenza. 

Permission Letter (Women who are Traveling with a Group)

As per the new Umrah Rules 2022, women between 18 years and 65 years old can apply for an Umrah Visa without a male guardian.

However, there are a few things that they need to do to submit a no-objection letter from their male guardian. It should highlight that the Mahram allows them to get an Umrah visa from Canada with their goodwill and wishes. 

Proof Certificate (Traveling with Women and Children) 

If you want to carry your family and children to Umrah, you must provide proof of a relationship with them. That way, the authorities can know the relationship and grant you easy access to the holy cities. Mahram or the husband should provide the proof through marriage or birth certificate.

Also, the mahram and his wife and children should travel on the same flight to ensure no mishap happens while entering the country.  

Flight Ticket 

Lastly, you need to submit a photocopy of your return flight ticket to Canada. This will help the authorities locate your stay and ensure you don’t extend your stay.

Therefore, as stated by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, they need to access the Umrah pilgrimage through a Saudi Umrah visa through authorized travel agents. That way, you can visit all the holy cities like Mecca and Medina and perform your rites. 

Moreover, note that when you visit the country, you should know its cultural norms and values. This is because it is integrated into their society.  

Just remember that you have a legal travel agent authorized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and all the legal documents. Otherwise, you may have to wait in the queue a little longer to get an Umrah visa from Canada.
