LifestyleSaudi Arabian Podcast Sets Guinness World Record with 110 Million YouTube Views

The Saudi Arabian podcast Fnjan by Thmanyah broke the Guinness World Record for the most viewed podcast episode on YouTube, racking up an incredible 110 million views. This beat the previous record of Joe Rogan’s interview with Elon Musk, which gathered 68 million views over five years.

Thmanyah, meaning “eight” in Arabic, launched Fnjan in 2016. The podcast delivers intimate conversations similar to sharing a cup of Arabic coffee. With over 350 episodes averaging more than 1 million views each, it has built a strong following across the Middle East.

The record-breaking episode, “Secrets to Thriving Relationships,” starred relationship coach Yasser Al Hazimi. His advice on self-awareness and communication resonated with listeners, covering universal topics like toxic relationships, bullying, and conflict resolution. Al Hazimi’s direct approach and easily shareable quotes helped the episode go viral on social media.

The episode’s success was boosted by a global audience, with 74% of views coming from outside Saudi Arabia and 21% watching with English subtitles. Most viewers were aged 25-34. This broad international appeal, combined with relatable content and strategic presentation, helped the podcast achieve worldwide recognition and set a new Guinness World Record.
