The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) announced today, Tuesday, individuals, citizens, and residents to pay their Zakat – voluntarily – through the Zakaty application.
The authority stated that the (zakat) service is available for the fourth year in a row.
After achieving record numbers and successes during the past years, confirmed in the same context that the collected
Zakat amounts are directed directly to those entitled to social security at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Zakat indicated that the (Zakat) service provides the ability to calculate the Zakat that must be paid in various kinds through its two electronic platforms, whether it is money, gold, silver, stocks, etc.

The Zakat and Income Authority indicated that Zakat could be paid through secure and reliable electronic payment methods in the Kingdom, through the services of “Mada” and “Sadad” and others.
It is noteworthy that the total sums received by the authority from the (Zakat) service in the blessed month of Ramadan of the year 2020 AD amounted to more than 40 million riyals. From which the beneficiaries benefited from social security in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
