If you’ve lost or damaged your vehicle’s number plate in Saudi Arabia, you can obtain a replacement by following these steps:

1. Report the Lost or Stolen Plate:

  • Log in to your Absher account.
  • Navigate to the “Vehicles” section and select “Vehicles Management.”
  • Choose your vehicle and click on “Report Lost or Stolen Plate.”
  • Submit a new request specifying whether the plate is lost or stolen, and provide the necessary details.

2. Pay the Replacement Fee:

  • Access your online banking platform.
  • Go to the “Payments” section and select “Government Payments.”
  • Choose “Motor Vehicles” and then “Re-Issue License Plate (Two Plates).”
  • Enter your Iqama number and the vehicle sequence number.
  • Specify the reason for issuance (e.g., lost) and select whether you want a logo on the plate.
  • The fee is SAR 100 for plates without a logo and SAR 800 for plates with a logo.

3. Request the Replacement Plate:

  • After payment, return to your Absher account.
  • In the “Vehicles Management” section, select your vehicle.
  • Click on “Vehicle Plates Replacement.”
  • Choose the size and number of plates required.
  • Select your city and the preferred postal office for pickup.
  • Pay an additional fee of SAR 109.25 for delivery.
  • The new plates will be ready for collection in 5-7 working days.

4. Collect the New Number Plate:

  • Once your plates are ready, you’ll receive an SMS with the location details.
  • Visit the specified courier service office.
  • Remove your current number plates and hand them over to the office.
  • You’ll receive your new plates after installing them on your vehicle.
