BusinessTHE LINE: NEOM Will Display The Project's Design At The Jeddah Exhibition

Jeddah — NEOM will launch an exhibition showcasing the revolutionary designs of the future city, “The Line,” starting from Monday in Jeddah.

THE LINE is 200 meters wide, 170 kilometers long, and stands at 500 meters above sea level. Entry to the public exhibition is free and will detail the architectural and engineering design of the city.

The NEOM exhibition features and capabilities of THE LINE. It will acquaint visitors with the architectural and engineering components and a deeper understanding of The Line.

The exhibition will be held in the “Jeddah Superdome” and will continue until August 14, before moving to the Eastern Province and settling in Riyadh.

Free event tickets are available on the “Hala Yalla” app.

The exhibition timings are from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will conduct 50 tours of an hour each during the length of the exhibition. Arabic and English-speaking guides will accompany all visitors.

THE LINE will operate on renewable energy only. Unlike traditional cities, it prioritizes people, their health, and their well-being over transportation and infrastructure. It has prioritized nature over development, preserving 95 percent of NEOM’s land.

The Crown Prince’s announced the unique features of the 200 meters wide THE LINE.

Eventually, THE LINE will house nine million residents within its mere 34 square kilometers area. Incomprehensible in comparison to traditional cities with a similar-sized populace.

The project will reduce the infrastructure footprint and create efficiencies in city functions as never seen anywhere.

An ideal year-round climate at The Line ensures that residents enjoy their surroundings and nature when walking around. Residents will enjoy access to all facilities within a five-minute walk. The Line also has a high-speed rail that travels end-to-end in 20 minutes.
