Riyadh — The Al-Arabiya channel quoting well-informed sources, reported that after due consideration; the government has planned to merge the government applications of Absher and Tawakkalna into a single platform.
The move will facilitate citizens and expatriates to use all government services through a single portal.

The unified platform would provide its services to all citizens and residents. The users can conduct their transactions within a single application that electronically links all government sectors.

The government has planned the merger in coordination with the relevant agencies.
Including the Ministry of Interior, the Digital Government Authority, and the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence.
Absher app by the Ministry of Interior is an official app for individuals’ mobile e-services that provides various government services, especially for passport (Jawazat) services.

Similarly, Tawakkalna is a COVID-19 contact tracing application by the Ministry of Health to trace and prevent the spread of coronavirus.
