Riyadh — Jawazat, the General Directorate of Passports, has announced it would issue travel permits to Iraq through the Absher app.
Travel permits to Iraq are a Tawasul service, a part of the Absher platform. This service will facilitate the travelers to get their permits issued without visiting a Jawazat office.
The Jawazat said terms and conditions applied for the issuance of these permits.

The service is accessed through the user’s account on the Absher app platform. The users select services from the list of my services (khidmati).
The user will then select the Jawazat, then the Tawasul service. Here at Tawasul, the user will submit an application. The user needs to specify the request for “travel permits service to the exempted countries.”
After this, the applicant has to choose the sub-service “travel permit to the Republic of Iraq” and; then select the location of the committee nearest to the applicant for obtaining the permit.

The applicant gives a request and a copy of the national ID and companions. The Jawazat said that the permit form is available on the website of the Jawazat.
