Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Airport is set to welcome its first foreign flight in April. This significant event marks a major milestone in establishing Saudi Arabia as a premier global tourism destination.
The airport, located 90km south of Al Wajh in the west of Saudi Arabia, will see the arrival of the first international flight from Dubai International on April 18, operated by flydubai.Â

This flight signifies the beginning of a new twice-weekly route connecting Dubai to the Red Sea International Airport, enhancing the airport’s connectivity and positioning Saudi Arabia on the global tourism map.
This airport in Saudi Arabia is expected to serve one million passengers annually by the project’s completion in 2030, with a peak capacity of 900 passengers per hour.
