Eid Al-Fitr in 2025 is expected to begin on Monday, March 31, and end on Wednesday, April 2. However, if Ramadan lasts only 29 days, the holiday would start earlier on Sunday, March 30. - Holiday Duration
With Friday and Saturday already being the weekend in Saudi Arabia, residents will enjoy six consecutive days off, returning to work on Sunday, April 14. Meanwhile, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) will close after the March 27 session and resume trading on April 3.
Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. The celebration, known as the “festival of breaking the fast,” follows a month of daily fasting. As confirmed by an official committee, the exact date depends on the sighting of the moon.
