As part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Program, Saudi Arabia will distribute 700 tons of best dates to over 100 countries during the upcoming month of Ramadan 2025. This marks an increase of 200 tons from last year’s distribution, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Muslims worldwide.
Global Distribution via Embassies
The initiative, overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, will use Saudi embassies to ensure smooth and efficient distribution. Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, expressed gratitude for the leadership’s efforts in strengthening global humanitarian outreach, especially during Ramadan.
Ramadan 2025 Dates
Ramadan is expected to begin on February 28 or March 1, 2025, based on lunar sightings, and will last 29 or 30 days, concluding around March 30.
This annual initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s dedication to charitable giving, particularly during the holiest month in the Islamic calendar.
