The Riyadh Season festival brought double joy to newlyweds in Saudi Arabia with a spectacular mass wedding event. A total of 300 couples, amounting to 600 brides and grooms, participated in the grand celebration, which was held at two prestigious venues—the men’s ceremony at Abu Bakr Salem Theater and the women’s ceremony at Mohammed Abdu Arena.
The event was marked by vibrant performances from renowned artists, including Abdullah Rashad, Fahad Al-Kubaisi, and Ayed, who entertained guests during a concert and dinner gala. As a gesture of generosity, Alwaleed Philanthropies gifted 300 brand-new cars to the newlyweds. At the same time, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced plans to provide private housing to all couples during Ramadan to support family stability.
The celebration also included various community support services, such as hospitality, bridal attire, perfumes, grooming services, premarital tests, and family counseling sessions. Saudi Telecommunications Co. further contributed by offering the newlyweds free internet for one year. This mass wedding is part of Riyadh Season’s broader social responsibility initiatives, which aim to provide not only entertainment but also meaningful contributions to the lives of young Saudis.
