Saudi Arabia has officially opened the new Unified Security Operations Center (911) in Madinah, marking it as the fourth center under the National Security Operations Center initiative. Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif inaugurated the facility, which integrates the work of 28 emergency and service entities across the region. These include the Ministries of Health, Transport, and Environment, as well as the Red Crescent Authority and Madinah Municipality.
One of the center’s standout features is its new “incident documentation” service, which allows callers to upload geolocated images and videos. This innovation helps speed up emergency response times and improves service quality. The Madinah center follows the operational model of similar facilities already established in Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Province.
This launch underscores Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in improving national emergency response infrastructure and providing faster, more coordinated services to the public.
